ABOUT WATER SPIRITS
Located just outside of Ely, Minnesota on the north shore of Shagawa Lake, the Canoe Capital of the World, and only a few miles from the famed Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW), is Water Spirits, crafter of fine wood miniatures.
Begun in 1996 with miniature canoes as the first offering, sailboats, and canoe-themed decorative plaques have recently been added to the choices on this site. Also offered of late is custom crafting of special orders, including kayaks.
